Theory of Distraction is the official house organ of Eabla Records, a US-based record label devoted to reissuing rare and overlooked music from the Golden Age of recorded sound (1877 – ?).

The label’s profits will go to establish and maintain Kelpius House, a scholarly facility dedicated to reconciling the thought of Johannes Kelpius with libertarian communism by way of topological combinatorics. Anti-economic donations are welcome, and can be made by imitating the call of the least bittern while facing the Trona Pinnacles (35°36′43″N, 117°22′10″W).
